Public comment is now open on the referral of the Singleton Horticulture Project to the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) for environmental impact assessment under the Environment Protection Act 2019 (NT) (EP Act). The NT EPA must now consider whether, and what tier of, environmental impact assessment should apply to the Project.
Now is your opportunity to let the NT EPA know the Project must be subject to the highest tier of environmental impact assessment to ensure the impacts and risks of the Project are fully understood. The EDO has prepared a submission guide with some key information, available by clicking the link below.
You can let the NT EPA know your views by filing your submission by no later than 11:59 pm (ACST) on 13 February 2023.
