In 2016, EDO commented on the Hawkesbury Shelf Marine Bioregion Assessment Suggested Management Initiatives Discussion Paper.
In the submission we stated we support strong and coordinated management of marine bioregions to ensure ecologically sustainable use of marine resources and protection of our unique marine species and ecosystems.
The submission addressed the Threat and Risk Assessment (TARA) process, the relationship with current legislative processes, and each of the eight suggested management initiatives.
