Environmental Defenders Office (EDO) welcomes the opportunity to provide a submission in
relation to the Productivity Commission’s Interim Report on National Water Reform 2024 (Interim
Report).1 This supplementary submission builds upon the matters raised in our original
submission to the inquiry dated 21 February 2024 (February Submission).2
This submission provides further comment specific to the Northern Territory (NT) in relation to the
frameworks for allocating water outside plan areas; and NT Surface Water Take – Wet Season Flows Policy.
