The EDO (ACT) publishes the ACT Environmental Law Handbook, which answers questions and explains the law in an easy-to-read style. It is a useful resource when working to protect our environment. The second edition was published in March 2009, and includes recent changes to the ACT’s planning scheme and environmental laws.
The EDO (ACT) has published the Noise Pollution in the ACT booklet (download pdf [324KB]), which answers frequently asked questions about dealing with noise pollution in the ACT. The law in this booklet is current as at 30 July 2010.
The EDO provides a free electronic quarterly newsletter detailing developments in ACT environmental law and environmental issues throughout Australia. The newsletter includes information on upcoming events and opportunities for making submissions.
